What this directory is

Perth Plumbing Hub is an independent directory covering 725 plumbing businesses across Perth metro. It exists for homeowners, landlords, strata managers and anyone else who needs to find a plumber and would rather compare options against consistent data than scroll through ad listings. Each business gets its own profile built from public business details and a synthesis of recent Google review activity, so you can see how a plumber is actually performing without having to read hundreds of individual reviews yourself.

We do not copy or republish review text. Where we reference sentiment or review volume, we summarise it ourselves and link out to the source on Google so you can read the original reviews in full if you want to check our work.

Who is behind it

This site is published by Scout Local Media, an independent Australian publisher that builds practical directories for tradespeople and home builders across Perth metro. Scout Local Media compiles listings from published review data and public business records, and treats earned ranking as the whole point: no business buys its way up the list. The rankings themselves are maintained by Julian Fischer, Reviews Editor, who oversees how the data is applied and keeps the rubric consistent across all 725 listings. How rankings actually work

Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied to data alone: things like review volume, review recency, rating trends and how complete and consistent a business’s public information is. There’s no manual override for a business that wants a better position, and no fee that moves a listing up the earned ranking. A listed business can request corrections to its own factual details, its address, phone number, trading hours, service area, that sort of thing. What it cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the ranking. Those stay tied to the data.

Sponsorship, kept separate

Some listings on this site are sponsored. Where that’s the case, it’s labelled clearly as “Sponsored” and displayed in its own section, separate from the earned ranking. Sponsorship never changes a business’s score or its place in the ranked list.

Perth Plumbing Hub is also a way to generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a plumber, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for doing so. That arrangement is disclosed on the quote page and never touches scores or earned rankings; the two systems don’t talk to each other.

Keeping the data current

Our full dataset is refreshed monthly, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see exactly when it was last checked, rather than trusting a static page that might be years out of date.
