Best plumbers for new builds and construction in Perth metro

Why it ranks first

Highest review volume here (4.9 from 145 reviews), with praise centred on drainage, water main and sewer work, the underground side of a build. Reviewers cite clear quoting and tidy finishes, including pavers reinstated without a trace. New build evidence is indirect, so confirm scope for full house fit-outs.

Pros

• ✓Named technicians (Steve, Michael, Bailey, Kate) repeatedly praised
• ✓Handles water main and sewer issues promptly
• ✓Transparent quoting and clear explanations
• ✓Site restoration done neatly

Why it ranks second

A perfect 5.0 from 78 reviews, and the write-ups say the team works in tandem on renovations and new builds. Jason explains options, runs the job smoothly and has charged less than quoted. Reviews come mainly from south-west suburbs.

Pros

• ✓Handles complex rerouting and bathroom fit-offs
• ✓Honest cost discussion
• ✓Owner personally involved
• ✓Gas, drainage and hot water covered by one crew

Why it ranks third

4.8 from 86 reviews, with construction work mentioned and staff noted as coordinating smoothly with builders and other trades. That coordination is what matters on a build programme. Named technicians such as Renzo, Tom Kennedy and Mitch come up often.

Pros

• ✓Works smoothly with builders and other trades
• ✓Tidy and clear communicators
• ✓Same-day response when something goes wrong
• ✓Fair pricing

Why it ranks fourth

A 5.0 from 50 reviews, covering both scheduled work and urgent call-outs across the northern suburbs. Over 23 years operating and Type B certification suit builders wanting a licensed, established plumber. Reviews don't name new builds specifically.

Pros

• ✓Over 23 years operating
• ✓Type B certified
• ✓24/7 emergency availability
• ✓Honest pricing

Why it ranks fifth

Reviews explicitly cover new builds alongside renovations and emergencies, from a 5.0 across 29 reviews. Clients report 10-plus years of using Luke's team, a good sign for builders wanting a steady subcontractor. Sample size is moderate.

Pros

• ✓New build experience named in reviews
• ✓Consistently first-time fixes
• ✓Long-term repeat customers
• ✓Strong attention to detail

Why it ranks sixth

All 62 reviews are five-star, and new builds are named directly, alongside pool installs and aged copper repairs. Brendan attends personally, quotes after inspection or photos and sends photo and video updates, useful when you can't be on site.

Pros

• ✓Personally attends most jobs
• ✓Photo and video updates
• ✓Takes on jobs others decline
• ✓Fair quotes given upfront

Why it ranks seventh

A 5.0 from 33 reviews with notable mentions of subdivisions and sewer conversions, plus same-day warranty repairs with no pushback. That after-sale care matters when defects show up post-handover. Communication across multi-stage projects is praised.

Pros

• ✓Handles subdivision and sewer conversion work
• ✓Same-day warranty repairs at no extra charge
• ✓Clear communication through multi-stage jobs
• ✓Tidy, low-disruption work

Why it ranks eighth

A 5.0 from 28 reviews, with complex copper bends and kitchen installs praised. Same-day or 24-hour turnaround helps when a build schedule slips. Reviews focus on renovations rather than new builds.

Pros

• ✓Same-day or 24-hour turnaround
• ✓Owner Ollie handles diagnosis and quotes
• ✓Tidy sites
• ✓Texts on arrival and photos of issues

Why it ranks ninth

4.9 from 40 reviews, with over 50 years operating and plumbing and gas licences listed. Reviewers value honest estimates compared with larger firms. New build evidence is thin, and recency is a little lower than others here.

Pros

• ✓Over 50 years operating
• ✓Plumbing and gas licences listed
• ✓Honest diagnosis, won't oversell work
• ✓Call-out fees often waived

Why it ranks tenth

5.0 from 19 reviews, with new builds named alongside multi-stage hot water upgrades and renovations. Dan keeps costs honest, explains each step and leaves sites clean, and commercial clients praise his easy admin. Small review count.

Pros

• ✓New builds and multi-stage jobs covered
• ✓No-upsell quoting
• ✓Clean site work
• ✓Commercial clients praise cost control

Why it ranks #11

The most construction-focused profile here: commercial and industrial licensing, 24/7 availability and operating since 2004. One client moved over after poor experiences with cheaper providers and now uses them for new builds. Low confidence, as it rests on just 12 reviews (4.9).

Pros

• ✓Licensed for commercial and industrial work
• ✓Established since 2004
• ✓24/7 emergency availability
• ✓Strong new build track record

Why it ranks #12

All 21 reviews are five-star and the range runs from emergencies through to new-build work. Nick is the standout, sending photos and ETA updates. Low confidence given the review count, and little detail on build scale.

Pros

• ✓Nick praised for responsiveness
• ✓Photos and ETA updates
• ✓Competitive, clear quotes
• ✓Tidy work

Why it ranks #13

A 5.0 from 21 reviews spanning about 10 years, with work including full bathroom renovations and hot water replacements. Oliver does the work himself and is upfront about material costs. Reviews don't cover new builds directly, and recent activity is lighter.

Pros

• ✓Owner Oliver handles the work
• ✓Open about material costs and options
• ✓On time and on budget
• ✓Neat finish

Why it ranks #14

A 5.0, but from only 6 reviews, so treat it cautiously. Zac and Caleb do tiling and plumbing in-house and cope well with mid-project changes, which suits wet-area fit-outs. Praise is for older-home renovations, not new builds.

Pros

• ✓Tiling and plumbing done in-house
• ✓Handles mid-project changes well

Why it ranks #15

4.6 from 30 reviews, the lowest rating here. Staff like Tom and Lucas are praised for finishing on time or early and within budget. Evidence is renovation and maintenance rather than new builds.

Pros

• ✓Finishes ahead of schedule on renovations
• ✓Named plumbers (Tom, Lucas, Rob) with repeat clients
• ✓Same-day quotes, weekend availability
• ✓Tidy sites
